Arenaria is a relatively rare plant in the main game campaign, outside of White Orchard but much more prevalent in the "Hearts of Stone" expansion. It is used to craft the following items:
Some of the locations where arenaria can be found:
- Keira's garden near her hut northeast of Midcopse.
- Tomira's herbal shop in White Orchard.
- Fyke Isle.
- Arenaria can be found in plentiful supply in the fields next to the house owned by Odolan, with whom you can speak during Devil by the Well. This herb is necessary to create Specter oil which is very useful to complete this quest.

- In reality, Arenaria is one of the plants commonly known as "Sandworts"
- There are many Arenaria species known, 150 - 300 grow mostly in the colder regions of the northern hemisphere.
- Some plants of this species find use in medicine.
