Fast-travel point Guarded treasure

Destroyed Bastion is a ruined tower in the far south of Velen. Nearby are two guarded treasures, one guarded by a cyclops and a second guarded by a wyvern.

Mysterious underground[]

There are three other small ruins nearby, with switches on their walls. When Geralt uses them, an earth elemental appears roughly in the middle between them. After killing him, a portal will appear on a nearby hill, transporting Geralt to the top of the destroyed bastion. After descending into the underground, Geralt is attacked by several wraiths that cannot be killed. He can only escape by activating two crystals with Aard, which will trigger another portal. Nothing else is found here, except for a strange-looking symbol on one of the walls in the main underground room, which may refer to the vampires in Toussaint or the Cyberpunk 2077 game. However, the meaning has not yet been revealed by any of the players.

Map description[]

Bastion built during the reign of King Gardic and destroyed during the First Nilfgaardian War.
