The city of Ellander is the capital of the region and the site of the Temple of Melitele where Nenneke teaches new priestesses and tends to the sick and wounded. It is in this city, at the temple, that Ciri began to learn to master her powers under the tutelage of Yennefer. She also met Jarre at the temple.
