Fast-travel point Ford is a location in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It is a road made up primarily of sand and rocks, which is then cut by two brooks of water originating from the Ismena river. This is where Geralt and Vesemir encountered the griffin, terrorizing the region, attacking a merchant after hearing the monster's screams when they just came from the ransacked village . When the witchers arrived, the griffin was devouring the merchant's horse that pulls his four-wheeled cart. They successfully drove the monster off, but brought with it the dead horse as it flew away. Shortly afterwards, the merchant, then left alone after he recommended the witchers to the inn of White Orchard village, unable to fix his broken cart, abandoned it there for good. His cart can be seen again, if Geralt revisited the road, being stuck on sand with a broken wheel but with no cargo left by the merchant.
