Heyne was the publisher of Andrzej Sapkowski's short story collections. 1993, Lingen Verlag released only "Der Letzte Wunsch" (The Last Wish).
Since 2006, the German publisher Dtv has the rights of the complete "The Witcher" novel series.
- The Last Wish, first published in Germany 1998
- The Sword of Destiny, first published in Germany 1998
- In the year 2000, Heyne released "The Last Wish" and "The Sword of Destiny" in one volume.

- According to his preludium to The Road of No Return, Andrzej Sapkowski based his vrans on an alien depicted on the cover of one of the sci-fi books published by Heyne Verlag.
