Hochebuz (original Polish: "Chociebuż", pron. [xɔʨɛbuʐ]) is a town in Cintra where queen Calanthe waged her first major battle. She admits herself that it was a trivial battle, fought over money and nothing more, but three thousand troops died there. Now, songs are sung in her honour about it.

- Chociebuż, modern day Cottbus, is a real city situated around 125 km southeast of Berlin. It has various names in Slavic languages, like "Chotěbuz", "Chóśebuz" or "Choćebuz", and Latin "Cotbusium"; reason of changing its spelling in the English translation remains unknown.
