==Walkthrough==
The side quest starts automatically. [[Bernard Loredo|Loredo]] invites the witcher to come see him at his residence. After getting into the compound (at 10:00 pm) and if Geralt hasn't yet killed the [[kayran]] , a merchant interrupts Geralt and Vernon as they are discussing what to do next and mentions that there is a component for a [[kayran trap]] hidden in the rear compound. This prompts Roche to offer to distract the first guard in order to allow Geralt in.

The witcher then finds a second guard patrolling back and forth, easily sneaks by him by going around the other side of the boulder to the right of the guard. He can also sneak up behind the guard and knock him out to make the return trip a bit easier.

He then sees a third guard around the corner watching the door, but that guard moves away and proceeds to take a piss.

After having dealt with the third guard, Geralt find the door he was guarding locked, so he must climb the ridge to your right, and jump down to the other side of the door to enter the compound. 

Once inside, and after a bit of sneaking around, a mini-cutscene showing [[Síle]] and [[Bernard Loredo|Loredo]] talking via a window is triggered. Taking note of the walking patterns of the guards in the area, Geralt then proceeds to either avoid them as he makes his way around, or knock them out making it a bit easier to get around unnoticed. He then climbs up the ladder nearest the window where Sile and Loredo were talking to listen in on their conversation.

After hearing the conversation, he then explores the area for loot, which consists mainly of chests of orens, timber, and [[Diamond dust#In The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings|diamond]] / [[amethyst dust]].

This concludes the quest. Whether or not Geralt searches for the component needed to make the [[kayran trap]], the choice does not impact the status of the quest.

== Notes ==
An inner courtyard, also guarded, is accessible within the area. Geralt has a few options to enter it: he may have already found the key to the door while searching the rest of the area, and so can sneak by the guard and get into the area that way, or he can jump over the wall to get in, or he can knock out the guard and then either open the door or jump over the wall. In that area, he'll find the trap component and depending on the difficulty setting, some rare armor. After that, he can simply climb the ladder and jump down into the front courtyard of the manor.
