Ivo Mirce, or "Cicada", is Herbolth's, the mayor of Aedd Gynvael, bodyguard. He is described as having hair the colour of oriole feathers and livid, empty eyes. He was also described as being extremely well armed at all times, carrying no less than a sword, a mace and two daggers, not to mention an assortment of brass plates.
Mirce also had a price put on his head by Foltest. He was a wanted man in Vattweir, Caelf and Vizima. He appears in the short story "A Shard of Ice" in the Sword of Destiny collection.
