- In the Polish edition of the game, his name is Bertram Tauler. The reason of this difference is unknown.
- Depending on what Geralt decides in the quest "Following the Thread", Geralt could kill him, because of his time as an assassin (when he murdered Aiden, the best friend of witcher Lambert) - which would suggest he was a renegade. If Geralt spares him, that would suggest mitigating circumstances, so not a renegade.
