Mamuns are small creatures from Slavic mythology. It is said that they are found at night near roads and paths where they roll drunks who have passed out to the side. This seems like a strange, though benevolent act.
These little creatures are seen throughout The Witcher, but they serve no obvious purpose. They tend to gravitate to Geralt and dance around him but otherwise do not interact.
