The School of the Manticore is one of the three schools introduced in the Witcher 3, specifically in the "Blood and Wine" expansion of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The School of the Manticore was created following a schism from the School of the Bear where Grandmaster Arnaghad's attempted assassination had led to the creation of the School of the Viper by Ivar Evil-Eye, the witchers who did not believe in Ivar's vision continued on to Elskerdeg Pass to make their way into the Korath Desert and the lands of Zerrikania. The School was once funded by the Zerrikanian crown and as such at its peak had two keeps one on the west side of the Korath Desert called Behelt Nar and one on the east side called Bialsuf Alsarea.[1]
In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, there is a set of Manticore School gear which can be crafted.
