Monsters Gwent deck

The Monsters Gwent deck must be built from scratch by acquiring cards.

Overview

• Faction perk: One of your units in play is randomly carried over to the next round.

An interesting high-risk, high-gain deck, built around the Muster special ability. Monsters allows you to field a large, high score army with just a few cards, giving a solid advantage against the opponent.

Of course, the drawback is precisely that same Muster ability: It's possible to deplete your deck with just a few cards, crippling your long term ability to play. The deck is also extremely vulnerable to the Freezing Cold weather card, due to its reliance on Close Combat units, but does gain an advantage against other decks when using Ranged Combat and Siege Combat debuffs. Likewise, Scorch cards and units are a severe threat.
