The city of Nilfgaard, known as the City of the Golden Tower, is the capital of the Nilfgaardian Empire which eventually grew to conquer all foreign lands south of the Yaruga. The city itself is located on the Alba. Citizens of the city tend to consider the Nilfgaardian Empire as defined only by the inhabitants of the capital and surrounding lands.
