Nurzybob is a governor whose company of pikers passed through Barefield at some point prior to the events in the short story "The Bounds of Reason".
Dandelion relates how the governor's pikers raped the local lumberjack's daughter who was mentally challenged leaving her pregnant. It is said that she gave birth to the village idiot, one of the two locals who went to verify if the poisoned dragon was in fact dead. (She was not!)
