Signed on 2 April 1268, the Peace of Cintra outlined the conditions of peace settlement following the last war. The talks were held in Cintra between the Northern Kingdoms and the Nilfgaardian Empire, ending the second Nilfgaard-Nordling War and ushering in a new world order. Although the negotiations were ostensibly conducted by the participating monarchs, the treaty was actually the work of the Lodge of Sorceresses using their powers of persuasion with the various rulers.

Provisions of the treaty[ | ]
- Dol Blathanna to become a free, autonomous principality, to swear fealty to Aedirn, but without tribute obligations
- Repatriations to the people of Dol Blathanna, with the restoration of property rights and an equitable split of resources between humans and elves
- Scoia'tael Commanders branded war as criminals, and to be given fair hearings by authorities of the North leading to amnesty
- Kaedwen forced to pay restitution to Demawend for Upper Aedirn
- Brugge and Lyria given back by Nilfgaard; and its settlers repatriated
- Riverdell, Sodden and Angren annexed as realms of Temeria
- Issue of the Cintrian throne resolved - Emhyr to marry Ciri, or rather her double
- Redanian and Temerian armies to withdraw from Hagge
Result[ | ]
- The treaty weakened Nilfgaard's position as a superpower, it lost the majority of its army command and troops, as well as territories acquired during the war .
- Temeria made the largest proportional territorial gains, whilst the largest proportional territorial losses were suffered by Aedirn.
- Temeria (the southern areas around Maribor, Sodden and Brugge), Verden, Lyria and Aedirn had to rebuild after the devastation caused by the war. Whole towns were destroyed, villages, castles, manufactures, mines and industry all required rebuilding.
- Redania and Kaedwen, who participated in the war, although none of the fighting took place on their soil, received nothing.
- Of the elves that fought for Nilfgaard, fifty-five officers from the "Vrihedd" brigade, including its commander Colonel Isengrim Faoiltiarna and Iorveth, were surrendered to the Northern Kingdoms and executed (only fifty-three of them were executed - the upper mentioned managed to escape fate).
- The Jarl of Skellige was forced to accept a cessation of hostilities against Nilfgaard.
- Kovir reconciled itself with the loss of profits from its ventures providing Redania supplies against Nilfgaard during the war.
