The gang of Pinta consisted of robbers and horse thieves. Pinta was their ringleader. They lost one of their members in Loredo. A tall man with a mustache made dirty jokes about Ciri and Mistle whereas his cronies applauded and chanted. When he tried to harass them sexually, Ciri killed him. In a flash, she cut his throat with two strokes of her sword.
Giselher, ringleader of the Rats interceded before an other member was killed. Scornfully he paid Pinta one thaler per pound for the dead rascal.
The Pinta gang plays a minor part in Baptism of Fire.
