These can be found mainly during Chapter II:
- A small quantity are found on a corpse found just before the inner entrance to the Mines of Vergen. (Right at the point Zoltan makes a comment about the "poor bastard").
- There are also a few on Roche's ship which can be reached by rowing out to it from the beach behind Roche's encampment.
- About a dozen in the cave under the Kaedweni camp, near the exit to the Nilfgaardian camp.
