On Roche's path, the sword can be won from Skalen Burdon in a game of dice poker after completing the quest "The Spear of Destiny". Likewise on Iorveth's path it can be obtained from the same source anytime during Chapter II. Prior to version 2.0, a rusty steel sword was won instead.
Notes
- As the name suggests, this sword refers to Xena, a fictional character of a popular tv series, interpreted by Lucy Lawless.
- As of the Enhanced Edition, this sword no longer resembles an Elven blade.
- A bug may occur where you receive nothing, despite winning.
- On the Xbox 360 bug may occur where Skalen tells you that you have won the sword, but you get a rusty steel sword, a Robust Kaedweni sword or nothing instead (as of June 6, 2012). If all hope is lost and you want something rather than nothing, simply win the first time you play dice poker, then without exiting the dialogue, play him again and immediately press "B" to forfeit. Then when you exit the dialogue, you should have the robust sword.
