This page lists all the scrolls found in the The Witcher with links to the individual pages. Scrolls are not the only reading material available to Geralt. There are also many books and posters scattered around Vizima and environs.

Potion and oil scrolls[]

Multi-formula scrolls

The Book of the Golden Oriole contains recipes for Golden Oriole, Black Blood and Wolf.
The Book of the Kiss contains recipes for Kiss, Insectoid oil and Argentia.
The Book of the Swallow contains recipes for Swallow, Blizzard, Cat, White Gull and Necrophage oil.
The Book of the Tawny Owl contains recipes for Tawny owl, Bindweed and White Honey.
The Book of the Full Moon contains recipes for Thunderbolt, Shrike, Full Moon and Vampire oil.
The Book of the Wolverine contains recipes for Wolverine, Willow and Ornithosaur oil.

Dragon's dream
Samum contains recipes for Samum and Brown oil.
Secrets of the Southern Masters contains recipes for the Devil's Puffball and Zerrikanian Sun bombs.
Zerrikanian Alchemy contains recipes for the King and Queen bomb and Crinfrid oil.

Scrolls for mutagenic potions[]

While these potions are called mutagenic, they do not require the "mutagen" ingredient (it can of course be used if hydragenum is necessary, but it has no special purpose or effect), contrary to what some players have assumed. They actually produce the "mutagen" referred to on the hero panel to unlock certain abilities like Rising Moon or Predator.
