The Band of Brethren
"Superstitious" is a quest in the "Side Effects" premium module.
When Geralt first meets Milka, she relates that she has won a house at dice poker. While this might seem like a boon, Milka has had disturbing dreams about her new property and would like it cleared of whatever malevolent beings might infest it. She wants Geralt to do this, but before she will give him the key to enter the house, she demands a turquoise ring, for luck. Another superstition? Regardless, our hero obliges and finds her a suitable ring.
He returns and gives her the ring, and she keeps her word and gives him the key. She tells him also that anything he finds inside, he may keep as a reward for the task. He then proceeds to her house to rid it of any unwanted guests, leaving it with a "witcher's guarantee" of safety which would allow our gambling gal the opportunity to sell it.
- A turquoise ring is part of the reward for completing the "Exhibits" quest.
- Another such ring can be found among the treasure of the "The Band of Brethren" quest.
Milka the gambler won a haunted house playing dice. If I clear it of monsters, I'll be able to keep whatever I find inside. Before I can do that, I need to bring Milka a turquoise [ring] — she believes it'll bring her luck. Only then will she give me they key to the house. I need to find a turquoise ring for Milka.
I have the turquoise ring, which I can exchange for the key to Milka's haunted house. I sure hope Milka likes this ring.
I have the key to the haunted house. Once I clear it of monsters, I can keep anything I find inside. I can keep anything I find in Milka's house.
I managed to find Milka's house. Seems it really is haunted. I should rummage around the house if I want to get paid for this job.
I should fetch Dandelion and get him out of Vizima as soon as possible. I won't have time to finish this quest. I won't be able to finish this quest.
