The Giant Centipede Contract
Only buyer of chitinous giant centipede carapaces - come to the elven camp by the lake, be not afraid. Four carapaces earn a decent sum - no doubt about it.

Walkthrough
There is certainly no lack of giant centipedes around Murky Waters. All our hero has to do is walk (or run) around the area surrounding the village, specifically the triangular area which includes the fairytale ruins, the riverbank (closer to the road than the river) and the (impassible) bridge to the fields. They are also not too difficult to find, or rather, they seem to have no difficulty finding Geralt. Once he has subdued four of them, he can take their carapaces back to the Lakeside cave and collect his reward from the elven craftsman.
Notes
- Giant centipedes seem to succumb best to Strong attacks and a bit of insectoid oil never goes amiss. They also tend to attack in threes.
- Geralt can loot Giant Centipede remains for their Chitinous carapaces without having the monsters' bestiary entry.

The elven craftsman is buying giant centipede carapaces. He'll pay anyone who delivers four of them. I need to collect four chitinous carapaces for the elven craftsman.
Loot
I have four chitinous carapaces. I can see the elven craftsman and claim my reward. I should see the elven craftsman and collect my reward.
Payment
The elven craftsman happily paid me for the chitinous carapaces of the giant centipedes. I received my reward for the chitinous carapaces. (250 orens, 5000 XP)
