"The Malady" (Polish: Maladie.) is short story by Andrzej Sapkowski, first published in Polish in the Nowa Fantastyka magazine and later in the Świat króla Artura. Maladie book.

It is not one of the witcher tales, but rather retells the story of Tristan and Iseult from the point of view of two of the "smaller players", Sir Morholt of Ulster, an Irish knight and Branwen, a confidante of queen Iseult the Fair.
