In The Witcher, jewellery is used for three main purposes: as gifts (rings and necklaces), as means of entry into restricted areas, or as quest items. Below is a list of these, starting with all "regular jewellery" which can be bought, sold or given as gifts. A list of gems can be found on a separate page.
Rings[ | ]
A ring. A valuable item which can be sold or given to someone.
Buy | Sell | |||
---|---|---|---|---|
Gold ring | Plain gold band. | 120 | 60 | |
Gold diamond ring | Ornate gold ring with a diamond, one possible reward for defeating Fat Fred. | 240 | 120 | |
Gold ruby signet ring | Gold ring with round red stone (called a signet ring, but not used to gain entry anywhere). | 300 | 150 | |
Gold sapphire ring | Gold ring with a round blue stone. | 180 | 90 | |
Gold signet ring | Very ornate gold ring (called a signet ring, but not used to gain entry anywhere). | 240 | 120 | |
Silver ring | Plain silver band. | 80 | 40 | |
Silver amber ring | Heavy silver ring with amber stone. | 120 | 60 | |

---|---|---|---|---|
Salamandra brooch | A brooch worn by members of the Salamandra organization. A quest item, the "split" Salamander brooch is found in the game, but is a different item despite also being a Salamander brooch. It is special. All other brooches are just regular inventory items which can be sold to Leuvaarden's man at the Hairy Bear only. No one else, except Leuvaarden buys them, so save three for him. | n /a | 10 | |
These three can be sold on one occasion only: to Declan Leuvaarden, and only three of them. The price shown is for all three, not an individual item price. | n /a | 200 |
Signet Rings[ | ]
These rings can not be bought initially, but once acquired, they can be sold and re-purchased.
