Vernossiel is the leader of a small Scoia'tael commando group that has been attacking Redanian transports in Velen. She and her comrades are hiding out near a bandit camp, northwest of the Inn at the Crossroads. When Geralt meets her in the forest camp, Vernossiel greets him lightheartedly and doesn't show hostility, but comments that she won't stop attacking the transports. It's up to Geralt to decide whether to let them be or not. If she feels that Geralt has betrayed her, she will later confront the witcher near Glory Gate and attempt to kill him.

- If you find the forest camp before starting Contract: Woodland Beast, Vernossiel and her group won't be there and instead the camp will be inhabited by regular bandits.
- After you finish the related quest, Vernossiel and her squad will leave the camp (either on their own or apparently ambushed by Redanians depending on the outcome).
